Failure Is Not An Option

"If we hole up I want to be somewhere familiar, I want to know where the exits are, and I want to be allowed to smoke." -- Ed, Shaun of the Dead

Today I decided to start blogging again. My goal: to document the fact that I tried, even if I don't succeed. Failure may not be an option, but I'm sure as hell determined to flirt with the idea. And if failure isn't an option, why is it so readily available everywhere I turn? Am I just not viewing the world the right way? Perhaps there's a more Superman-esque approach in which I can just fly really fast and turn time backwards if I don't like the outcome. Oh, Hollywood - how you toy with my emotions.

Updates:
Work: I just checked my work email for the 2nd time today. It's my day off.
Love: SO just took a picture of me curled up on the chair and is refusing to show it to me.
Zombies: I got too distracted looking up information about zombies to finish this post... go figure. (P.s. Save yourselves!)

Completely un-related (okay, slightly related), all the things I want to do:
  • buy an iPad (don't judge me!)
  • be a marathon runner (sadly... running is involved, but it's a nice idea)
  • go back to school and get my degree (already signed up so I can't back out now. Ha!)
  • learn to knit
  • learn to play Piano
  • read more often (without falling asleep)
  • write more often (blogging totally counts)
-c'est la vie... bon nuit
